I have no balance!!
I'm just leaning on people even more!!!
I had some really good news today. I checked my bank balance online and found that the mortgage set-up fee had been taken out. This means that the mortgage is going through as planned and that they accepted my credit card as ID. I'm not going to tell them that it was applied for and successfully accepted online. I suppose the fact that I have a credit card is proof that I am credit worthy and my credit records will match-up with the details on the application form.
I phoned Wayne as soon as I got in and organised a meeting for this morning (oh how sweet it'll be to lose the day/night confusion) so we're going to go through what happens nexty and look at insurance figures. I think I will just nod politely and ignore anything he has to say on the matter - he's a mortgage advisor, I think I can deal with the insurance side of things...
Great news - I got a mail from Charlie at her new workplace telling me that she wouldn't lose touch - things are looking rosier. It's funny how it goes in cycles isn't it? One minute you can be feeling like the brunt of some kind of Cosmic joke and then, suddenly, you are riding high again - fantastic.
I'm really beginning to look forward to my time off now. This is my last night in work until next Tuesday so I'm going to kick back and have some REAL fun. I have already promised Colonel Roberts (me new mate) that I'll have a few drinks with him via IRC - sad but funny and just at the moment I am being entertained by Merkin (who I hope I'm entertaining too). She hasn't been feeling well today so I'm trying to keep her smiling. Che is back from her trip to Lake Tahoe where she seems to have had big fun. She's had a bit of bad news today which I'm not going to go into (though she has blogged about it and you know where the link is) so, to the pair of them:
BIG HUG
It seems my two favourite ladeez will be joining up in Hollywood next weekend - unfortunately I'm not an international jet-setter (you need a passport) so I'll just have to wait for them to tell me all about it.
Today's Word: AYURVEDA
Today's Mood: Blissed out man
