Does anyone still read this?
I hope so.
I want to apologise for my trardiness with writing a new entry - so much has happened to me over the last month that there is no way I could cover everything successfully but the important thing to remember is that I am happy. Truth be told, I am probably happier now than I have been in a stupidly long time. Perhaps I just can't blog "happy".
I have tried to blog a few times recently and lost each entry to the ether so I have not completely forgotten to do it but I don't need to make excuses.
There is no way I can do justice to this month so I will not try except to highlight some of the more impotant aspects:
I saw Lee for what could be the last time in this country when he came to visit - we had a great time as usual but it was tinged with a little sadness, I'm going to miss him and I just wish we had known each other for longer.
Jinko, the co-founder of Dixi-land and a good friend of mine tragically took his own life. He had become distant to all of us but it still came as a great shock and he will be sorely missed.
Finally, there is no news on dibbie.com as yet but I am working towards it and getting everything as sorted as I can. To that end I have set-up an online gallery where I will host my pictures for the time being. You can view it by clicking here or by clicking the link on the left hand side.
Back to the present for a while. Sarah and myself had our Christmas early as she has to travel back home to see her parents over the Christmas vacation. We opened our presents to each other and went out for a few drinks and a meal. Unfortunately the restaurant we would have prefered to go to was closed so we settled for a cosy little Thai and Indian restaurant called "Spice". If you are ever in the St Helens district of Swansea and you like your food delicate and spicy then you should pay them a visit. We took the buffet which is essentially a full meal for £7 a head. Dynamite stuff and very very tasty.
My parents hit town tonight for the festive period so they will get a chance to meet Sarah. I've got to admit this is a little daunting for both of us but it's something we need to get out of the way. I am positive that it will go swimmingly but you probably know what it's like.
Anyhoo, thanks for being patient and I promise I'll get myself together enough to update regularly (and hopefully on dibbie.com). For those who are interested I have been updating the weebl blog on a regular basis (because it takes less thought and time) so follow the link and fill yer boots.
