Everything in the garden seems to be rosey at the moment (No pun intended).

I got a text last night from Ralph at work to see if I was awake - he won't know this until now but I wasn't and the text woke me up. I'm not bothered though because I got my holidays sorted out and I managed to get a good nights sleep anyway. As planned yesterday I went to see Rose with Pete and we had an excellent barbeque experience punctuated by a couple more beers. Pete was working from home today so couldn't stick around but I came back with him so I could get on tinternet and check my mail/update my blog.

I've just introduced Pete to the magic of weebl and bob and he instantly fell in love with them.

On the way to Pete's house I bumped into the daughter of an old friend of mine. He is currently doing time for embezzlement and talking to his daughter became a bit of a weird experience. What do you say? I was just blunt and asked whether he was out yet - he isn't but his wife is (it was actually her who carried out the embezzlement). I told her to say "Hello" from me and then beat a hasty retreat. It looks like I'm going to be missing Liverpool this time 'round but I've got an idea that a few of the lads will be coming down for tomorrow nights festivities - who knows?

I got a text from Al earlier saying that he had managed to get tomorrow night off work so things are looking good (although, he did say he was pissed off too so I'll have to find out why a bit later).

It's a bit strange really, I haven't had much time to think about my impending age milestone so the crisis has had to sit on the backburner for a while - if it ferments long enough I'm sure I can have a really good one...
