Ok, the whole 3rd-of-a-life crisis thing is going a bit wrong. I don't appear to be worrying about anything in particular. My trousers are still on the baggy side and my chest hair (what there is of it) is fully covered. I'm not even going grey - steps must be taken!!
I'm really beginning to get excited about seeing Ministry now - it's been far too long, more than 10 years in fact. The upside of this is that 10 years ago I was looking forward to leave my teen years so seeing Ministry will propel me back to my youth thus fulfilling my Peter Pan complex. Go me!!
I have further ensured that the child in me lives on by returning to my hero worship of Jim Morrison (except all the drugs - I try to keep those very much in moderation). I have just bought the entire back catalogue on CD because my vinyl (yes it used to be the domain of people who weren't DJs) collection has truly seen better days. Listening to all those old tracks from my bitter early teens transforms me back into the moping scrote I once was.
It's a little tricky writing a Blog without getting around to the subject of other people in my life but that part will just have to wait until I have enough photos of everyone - especially the motley crew from "back home" - but that shouldn't be a problem soon because I am going to hitting Cheshire on Friday. I have decided that Cheshire would be a good place to spend my birthday because the guys I know that live there are all daytime workers whereas me and the majority of my Swansea friends are nightowls and will probably be at work. There is no way on Earth that I would like to spend my 30th on my own.
Work calls...
