OWWWWW!!!!
Right this is getting beyond a joke... All I want is a couple of pain free days where I'm not being troubled by my bodies weirdnesses!!
This morning I was innocently watching "Red Dragon" when I was hit by the worst cramp I have ever had in my life. It started as a twinge in my calf and developed into an intensely painful ball of muscle that Arnie Schwarzenegger would be proud of. I immediately stood up which made matters worse so I sat down again - this didn't help either. As if things weren't bad enough my other calf then came out in sympathy which meant that went I stood up a (badly advised) second time I fell over. Not satisfied with wracking me with pain my bod then decided that the pain might be a little too excrutiating to carry on functioning properly and I blacked out.
By now I was a little confused and the pain resurged snapping me out of my faint. I "woke up" screaming at the top of my lungs and suddenly thought "shut up you idiot - you'll wake Alison". It then dawned on me that it was about 10.45 am and Alison had gone out for the day!! I finally managed to massage my calfs enough to make them relax and took my first tentative steps around the room. It's now a good 19 hours later and my clafs feel bruised!!
Pain aside I have had another pretty cool day. Ok, the majority of it was spent sleeping or working but again that didn't really get in my way.
It occorred to me earlier that I haven't been in touch with my mates from the "Hollows of Invisible Cats" (Cheshire) so I sent them all a text to tell them about my house. I think Al was expecting me to come back to live with my parents but I've decided that I'm big enough and ugly enough to look after myself these days so I'll roll with the punches and see what happens. I got messages back from them all asking when the house warming was - schweet.
The forums are continuing to grow and I have been made mod of my very own section which fills me with pride. I don't think there'll be any great shocks when I tell you it is the Audio/Visual section.
Despite having only had a couple of very brief chats with Merkin I would advise you to read her blog entry for today (if she does one) - She's gone speed-dating so it should be a goodie.
